To coincide with the rescheduled 4th of July celebration at the Hanover Arts & Activities and the opening of schools, the Ashland Museum is presenting a free showing of the movie 1776 at the Ashland Theatre. Join us on Monday, August 17, at 6pm, to see this historical drama about the events leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. With a blend of music and humor, the film features some of the original Broadway cast in a look at the process of building consensus among the 13 colonies in 1776. Doors open at 5:30pm and the movie starts at 6pm.
