We continue our HistoryTalks series with a program on the History of the Camptown Races presented by Donna Dennehy. Join us on Wednesday, March 11, at 7pm in the Truist Theater, Brock Commons, 304 Henry St., Ashland on the RMC campus.

Donna Gilman Dennehy will share the story of how her father, local horseman Ed Gilman of Eagle Point Farm, had the idea to hold a country race meet to raise funds for the Ashland War Memorial in 1953. There's much more to this story... It is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
