Kelly Merrill, Ph.D., Ashland Museum board member, faculty member at Randolph-Macon College and University of Richmond, and fellow with Initiatives of Change, will lead a tour of the Trail of Enslaved Africans.

Join us on Saturday, November 23. We will meet at the Ashland Museum at 8:45 am and depart by car/van to Richmond at 9:00 am. The tour will make several stops in Richmond and does require some walking. We will be back at the Ashland Museum about 1:00 pm.

Cost: $40 for members, $50 for non-members. Registration and payment in advance is required. Tickets are not refundable. Tour will be held rain or shine and it is umbrella friendly. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes since we’ll be walking on uneven ground and paths.
