The Herald-Progress newspaper gave us a nice write-up on the front page of the September 20th edition. The article included a profile of the Museum and of our upcoming inaugural exhibit in our new Museum space at 105 Hanover Avenue. The Exhibit Committee is working hard on finalizing the exhibit along with the entire Museum Board and many volunteers.

The exhibit is called “From Antebellum Resort to Civil War Town: 1836-1865“.

We are preparing for a soft opening event for Museum Members, donors, and friends in early October, followed by a Grand Opening event on Train Day, Nov. 10.  Read the article at the Herald-Progress web site.
