Where is the Ashland Museum?
The Ashland Museum is at 105 Hanover Avenue, Ashland, VA. (Our mailing address is PO Box 633, Ashland, VA 23005.) At this location, we have displays on the history and cultural heritage of Ashland, Virginia. Our first exhibit on Ashland’s history is “From Antebellum Resort to Civil War Town: 1836-1865” which opened in October 2012. The Ashland landmark “Red Caboose”, next door at 105A Hanover Avenue is also an exhibit of the Ashland Museum. Stop by to see an authentic 1926 C&O Railroad train caboose in nearly original condition.
