Calling all rising 2nd-5th grade history buffs

  • Messages sent to one another on a clothesline? Really? How do you do that?
  • What games did children play before there was television or a game system?
  • Ever wonder how clothes were washed in the 1800’s without a washing machine? How long did it take?

Explore these and other areas of everyday life as a kid in the 1800’s. We’ll enjoy games, crafts, snacks, and hikes through Ashland’s history with National Park Rangers Leslie MacClammy and Ajena Rogers.
